Sydney Pollack dies of cancer
Many of my favourite directors were also incredible actors. Pollack was a true renaissance man, writing, directing, acting, comedy, drama, documentaries.
One of my favourite films is Sketches Of Frank Gehry, a delightful look at the great modern architect with Pollack both behind and in front of the camera for a more intimate documentary style.
